Town with a population of 150,000 which lies directly outside Berlin. Potsdam was home to several Prussian Kings, mainly at the Sanssouci Palace, now part of Germany's largest World Heritage Site. Potsdam also has the oldest large-scale film studio in the World. The Potsdam Conference was held here at the end of World War II, resulting in the Potsdam Agreement (deciding the future of Germany) and the Potsdam Declaration (the call for the surrender of Japan).
